I am a parent and writer. I am ALSO an insatiable reader. 

There is nothing I like better than to snuggle into a good book. Reading captures my imagination and takes me places I've never been before. It is THE perfect hobby with unlimited resources.

Is it any wonder I also love to write? Whether I'm crafting a press release for a non-profit, knee-deep into another draft of my women's fiction, or working on a feature for a regional magazine, the stringing of words together to inform and entertain is something I will do for the rest of my years. It is a major element of who I am.

If this site prompts even one person to pick up a book, I've done my job. If this site helps a single writer improve his or her craft, it will have served its purpose. I appreciate you stopping by.
