Recently doing research for a news article and discovered just how easy it really is to borrow digital eBooks, audio books, and more from the library. If you are still buying every book you read from Amazon.com, check out your own public library's website. Most likely, it has the capability to lend you books using a free app called OverDrive Media Console. I downloaded the app to my device, then chose my preferred library. You will need your library card number for the first time you create your account. Books borrowed through the library are good for a specific time (just like when you borrow a hardbound copy), but returning them is so much easier. The book just disappears from your system. Books can also be renewed and "held" if they are already taken out. VERY cool. Being tech savvy, I now feel pretty silly for not having done this sooner. Too easy.
